Well it's your choice really, all my internal doors are left natural antique pine with ceramic white knobs and chunky black locks because that's how they came with the old house, Houzzers have told me to paint mine in previous discussions but refuse! ;) I personally like them!...See Morewhat colour to paint front door and garage?
Comments (10)Good morning, May I suggest for the front door and garage be painted the same in a very high gloss, possibly from farrow and balls collection a colour that has similarly to the stone used on the house such as.....Archive or Oxford stone which should compliment the brown window frames? I would also suggest you remove all the terracotta planters and replace them with some contemporary natural stone or paint the planters same as the door and they should be tall and plant some large box balls or sphere shapes which should update the look? Comments (24)While I’m sure it’s a travesty to paint mahogany, and my son couldn’t believe I had our oak furniture painted, I really think they look very heavy with the rest of the room. I think you should definitely paint them white. Alternatively you could sell them to Save them being painted and replace them, if you wanted to, with something much lighter and possibly sliding. Comments (5)Yes to painting door, frame & surrounding wood, and to picking out a colour from your lovely stained glass. Not sure about ted though - might be too much with the colour of your brick?
