My bedroom walls are a deep jewel pink. The curtains and bedding are layered oranges and rust and the rug is scarlet. I have a Desigual scarf with reds, orange and turquoise as a wall hanging. Most of your readers would hate it but I love it. It's warm and cosy and very boho.
With eyes closed I am not sure it makes a difference...even when I wake multiple times a night the room is dark, so the colour of the room irrelevant The lights are dimmed on going to bed so even if it were a bright room (which it is not), I wouldn't suffer any glare. Serious seep issues cannot be solved by something as simple as a colour change sadly.
It has to be white bed linen for me , no bright colours or patterns ,and definitely no gaudy wallpaper ! You need an oasis of calm to get a good nights sleep . Still don’t get one sadly ,although that’s due to my husband snoring .
