help with roman blind colour for bathroom
Comments (6)Thanks for your great ideas, I did think of wooden shutters but decided roman blinds were needed to soften the room. You can see the heated towel rail in the photo but I have sand and cognac towels that work well but all the fabrics for blinds in these colours look too heavy. I have a nice fabric in taupe with a small elephant pattern that is favourite at the moment but doesn't have the 'wow' factor! Comments (2)You will get light coming through with any blinds at the edges where they meet. Maybe you could change to shutters? I still think you'll get a little diffused light through those. If you don't want the expense of the shutters and or still want to go for black out curtains, then have them sill length and pull them round the bay....See MoreHas anyone ever re-covered Roman blinds?

Comments (7)Is that pink fabric the colour you were thinking of doing the headboard with? I think that'll look gorgeous. Could you post a photo of it draped on the headboard? And I'd go for Roman blinds in a colour close to the background of the wallpaper. Since they'll be made to measure, it might be an idea to use the fuchsia pink of the headboard (if you like that idea) as a border on the blinds....See More

Maybe wooden shutters but split the shutters into 4 panels which would then bi-fold back both sides giving you the french Provencal look.
Attached is an example of a job we have fitted in Farrow and Ball grey
