Salve Cosmin! Your doors look great and I'm sure lots of people would love to have them. However, my experience with a similar company was unpleasant, and I hope you operate differently. We wanted glass for the pocket door in our kitchen (see below), unfortunately the builder was unsure if he'd be able to find someone to install it, so we only ordered the sliding kit. After the frame was put in, we got back to them saying "OK, we would like the glass door now", they said they only sell the whole thing together (kit and glass door) and when we insisted, the offered us something like £20 less only for the glass door. Obviously, we said no and just bought a four panel. A few months later, the sliding kit for a different door (downstairs loo) got broken; we called them but they brushed us off saying it was probably an installation fault and they can't help. As I said, I hope you operate differently, because we would never again buy from that company or recommend it to someone else.

A sliding door always leaves a gap which wont cut out noise. How about a bi fold door which gives a snug fit. You can then select triple glazed panels to further keep the noise down. I suggest looking at 'doors of distinction', amazing variety of glass patterns tho' may not be double/triple glazed or 'Steve Sherriff ' for ideas. Good luck. Bee

Sliding vs Stackable glass doors

Stackable doors, when fully open, will free up the entire width, especially those which fold out towards the outside. So if you walk out into a patio, these will open up the patio view, making itlook larger. Sliding doors on the other hand will always block part of your 3.3m width. Depending on how many panels 4 or 5, you your total width will be reduced by say around 75-85 cm on each side. Perhaps in my opinion more appropriate for larger openings, say above 5m.
