Really need some splashback help please.
Comments (4)I think the kitchen will look great with the updates, the cabinets look good to me. I would however remove the 2 glass fronted ŵall cabinets. "Old hat" but why not grey for the cabinets as it ties in with the blinds in the living room? For the worktop have you also looked at the marble effect Quartz as its classic and should never date. Rather than tiles have an upstand and a splashback for the hob in the Quartz. Or if you want the wow, go for clear glass and have wallpaper underneath or commissioned art or silver leaf etc or even just a tiled splas hack. I also like your choice btw, i wouldn't pay attention to the kitchen company, it's your kitchen! Perhaps continue it down the side of the breakfast bar? have you considered cup handles? I love them and they give a contemporary or classic look to a kitchen. Maybe look at adding just a few green accessories to tie in with the blue?...See MoreSplashback Help
Comments (1)Hi, Upstands with a splashback behind the hob gives a clean, simple finish which is ideal for a handleless kitchen. I would use a diamond matt finish which is scrubbable; alternatively, you can just top us the paint, as and when necessary. A glass splashback is also effective and bounces light creating an illusion of more space- it is also very easy to clean and maintain. You could go bold to create an impact and introduce colour into the scheme or stay neutral and introduce colour through accessories....See MoreSplashback help!
Comments (3)Hi, I think a mosaic tile with a bit of 'bling' in it in a medium to light grey would be nice. Something like this: https://www.wallsandfloors.co.uk/magia-mosaic-tiles-silver-grey-mosaic-tiles...See MoreKitchen splashback help!
Comments (9)I would just put a clear glass splashback behind the hob to protect the wall. Having said that it would have looked better fitted before the upstand as it looks better mounted direct on the worktop. By having a clear glass splashback it will let the wall colour show through so each time you emulsion it will give the effect of that colour through the splashback. The units you have chosen represent a contemporary finish and I think you need to maintain this, so nothing fancy....See Moreoddbailey
