I notice none of the pictures show powered standing / Sitting desks, what are your thoughts on incorporating into a home office?

Front room for me! we have three rooms opened into one large living space, this is great when you have a large family. I still say front room, but mainly to describe the location of say my book or glasses if I'm am asking somebody to fetch them for me. It makes for a quicker find :)

Was at the dentist the other day and they simply gave us a clip board to form fill while we sat in the waiting room ! No desk ! And several of us were filling ( no pun intended !) in at same time - so had there been a desk it would have needed to be a big one !!!

Hi georgiancottageliving, using a dark paint colour would make the room feel cosy which would be lovely for a snug room. Which way does the room face? A green vintage rug sounds lovely, it would be great to see a photo. You may like the armchairs/sofas which have the turned arms and feet they are traditional but work well when mixing with some modern pieces.
