how to hide WC from hallway's sight
Comments (19)Yes, you are very right to point out safety issue relating to the kitchen layout. Thank you very much for the that. I will take this seriously to consider, one escape is thru main entrance, the other is to the porch and swimming pool and there is a back door escape to floor 22 as well. But this must be taken into account seriously. The current bathroom for children as you pointed out is correct, it will be much better if they have bathroom near by but there is no waste water pipes anywhere near their room, that is the limitation I guess difficult to overcome. The staircase can be smaller but my priority will be for allowing light and connecting two floors together. For the wardrobe in master bedroom, it can be more to be better but i reserved some places for putting drap and warm clothes in other scattered places in the apartment. I really appreciate your valuable time considering my floor plan and provide a lot of comments which really alert and warning me to find out solutions. Hope to receive more of your attention if that is possible. Thank you again and be stronger in this situation of covid 19. Hung...See Moreliving room inspo please
Comments (5)Gorgeous inspo pics! I feel like I recommend this colour a lot but it's because I'm totally in love with it myself. Farrow & ball Cornforth white is a warm light grey (looks almost white going on but is definitely grey). This is my room in Cornforth white (it is a west facing room). Drop Cloth is also a light greigey colour or lighter still is slipper satin. depending on your budget, you can colour match these shades. These colours will give you lots of flexibility with accessories and furniture (black accents will look great). if you're after a more detailed step by step approach I offer an online design service in which I provide scaled layouts, design and a click through shopping list. otherwise I hope this is a useful starting point for you! You've got a big space with so much potential!...See MoreWhich floor plan for utility and WC, your opinions please
Comments (24)Trina, you asked "The front windows measuring from the sill are 75cm above the ground. Is this sufficient height for lower kitchen units? " Depending on the kitchen manufacturer, you can get lower units which will sit the worktop at around 75cm, though this is too low to use as "prep space" or to have a hob. But it can be done. We have in the past done worktops that sit a little higher than window level, and have left a smaller "shelf" at window level next to the window into which pots or small troughs for kitchen herbs were put, which can be a useful way to tackle this challenge....See Morelook to buy a leopard print sofa and need inspo for room decor
Comments (8)Do you fancy a modern sofa or a traditional style one? The leopard print is quite a commitment. I think I would start with cushions in that print and maybe a throw to see if you think you will like it in a bigger area. I couldn't commit to that sort of pattern in a sofa but I'm a bit patternphobic anyway. It looks very glamorous when done right. Gold and red or black are the perfect accents. Have a look at Justina Blakely's the Jungalow blog for a boho type feel. It might suit what you are planning. I am assuming you're not looking for anything minimalist....See MoreEmily
