Hi there, thank you for your question. The hood model is a siemens LI46931GB telescopic extractor. Please note that this was fitted 3 years ago and so this model might not be available now.

Oh, those water stains. I so agree - aa interior design. I moved less than a mile but the water marks in my new home were astonishingly bad compared with before. By chance, Thames Water rang the bell one day to run a water test which showed that water here is the hardest it is possible to be. He explained that, despite moving such a short distance, my water comes from a different reservoir. I couldn't stand it and decided I had to get a water softener. It cost a lot but I can't tell you how liberating it is not to have to spend so much time cleaning, cleaning, cleaning or wiping, wiping, wiping just to manage or get rid of scale and scum. I really recommend it. It's also great knowing that my washing machine, dishwasher, radiators and pipes won't get bunged up and ought to function well for a long time. It took a while to get used to the feel of soft water but I now love it and can't imagine I'd ever not want a water softener again, if I were to move. Freedom!

All depends on personal preference and also how high the sides of the basin are..........as in, how much you need to lift your hands to place them in the bowl. We're both tall, 5'10" and 6'2", so we'd go for around 830 / 850. My mum's is ridiculously low, she's a lot shorter.........but it looks silly low, like it's been put in for a small child!

It's an awkward one. No it shouldn't be like that. It's not awful and I doubt the Quartz is compromised, but it's not perfect and if you're not happy then ..................Check for level.by looking at the bottom of all the units, do they line up? The problem is with the units, not specifically the fitting of the work top. It's the poorly fitted units that have caused the problem with the worktop. However, this should have been noticed and checked for level and that they were solid before the worktop went on. So, as often is in these situations it's 6 of one and half a dozen of the other. I'm presuming that the reason the fitter used shims is because the cupboard below wouldn't go up any further or it would have been completely out of line with the others for whatever reason? The doors are easily adjusted back to level, but the carcass should have been right to start with. Could this be happening because the floor isn't solid? There should have been no movement, especially not that much? I'm wondering if there was a little bounce in the floor such as you may get on floorboard with boarding over the top and the weight of the quartz affected that? I'd take it back up with the worktop fitter and the kitchen fitter together on site.

It's hard to find much. I don't know if the attached are any help. From googling the only cons I've come across are the cost plus installation ( this was from a us site written a few years ago however saying as it was relatively new it may be difficult to find an experienced installer). is it worth asking the supplier? I assume they supply various types of worktops so should be able to give an unbiased view.
