The colour you paint the walls very much depends on the behaviours you wish to see coming from the space. How you want it to feel. Who you are as a person. Once that is determined you can then ensure it harmonises and tones well with other spaces coming off your hallway. You could pick any colour you like (there's no such thing as a bad colour) but to make it really work for you and for the long term (which is key - hallways are a pain to decorate and you don't want to have to change it in a months time because you don't like it!). It is important to make sure that if, for example you chose red, is the red going to make you feel the way you wAnt it to? Have you chosen the right red? What is the undertone of the red? It's still on their website. They can probably mix it for you. Think it's best to see which shades of blue appeal to you and try some out. If you can get some blue paint swatches, take them home, make your selection and get one or more testers to test it out on the wall. Midnight Navy by Crown looks lovely too. It's interesting the mention of Insta. We were talking about this the other day - what looks good on a tiny square does not necessarily translate to real life. Things need to have impact on a small square to draw the eye, but in real life you need to live in a space and feel comfortable. I think we have all been sucked in at times! Anyway, Forza's previous mention about Skimming Stone is a good one. Greys tend to be blue based, green based or violet based. Blue based can look urban and tend towards cool, green based or violet based may be the way to go. Little Greene Slaked Lime is good, Skimming Stone woodwork, Elephants Breath walls Farrow and Ball etc.
