What type of sauna is this?

How much space does it take, what kind of requirements for electricity, etc. are involved and what about cost? Would love to incorporate one, but don't know if it's practical given constraints.

We purchased in from Saunafin, they range in price depending on size and specs. Material and install could range from 5-10K. Just need power, but a pretty big circuit. Smallest size is likely 4' x 5'...and you can go bigger of course. Hope this helps!

We are lucky enough to have an actual Spa. Hand constructed obviously given the nature of what i do for a living. It sits in a corner of our garden only a hop from our back door. We have a two stage raised deck with sunken hot tub, a Sauna, fridge freezer with ice dispenser for entertaining etc. The whole thing has a tile and glass roof with pine & full length glass doors. Oh yep, and a Chiminea with a chimney! It also has a cat flap, and the cat totally thinks it's her own room, she scowls as soon as you open the door and walk in!

I noticed this is an old post but it made me smile. I would personally rather have a wet bar, plunge pool, walk in humidor or champagne fountain. But a yatch is a home from home for many people so they must have what is important to them which may well be a sauna (especially if you originate from Finland).

I did some drawings for company who were cladding an area for 'relaxing in' after a sauna ... it was done in a three tones of wood cladding - a bit like pallet walls but on a bigger scale - and basically they used uprights in front of the sauna wall to batten the cladding to - then finished the edges around the door - ( which was just glass - so a bit different to yours) but the end result was really cool ! If you did something like that - even if it's only with plaster board - with a sliding barn or blackboard door that would cover the sauna door it could work ? A blackboard could double up as a menu board as this is a dining room ?!
