Grey UPVC or White UPVC Windows?
Comments (17)Thanks Daisy I am swaying more towards grey. Yes that's very true as we're one of the only houses with the original 80s windows still, so people won't pay out just for a different colour if there windows are still okay. We really love grey, I am just worried it'll look out of place or not as good as I'd be hoping. I may have found the solution... I've been googling today & noticed slim profile UPVC windows exist (Aluminium is out of our budget). As one thing that put me off UPVC grey Windows was that the frame seams more obvious than white somehow & I don't like the thick, chunky frame of some UPVC Windows so that maybe an option. Thanks again!...See MoreUPVC window dressing - suggestions?
Comments (2)Hi there, As you mention the recess is an issue, you could either fit outside the recess or choose an option called PerfectFit. These blinds are available as Roller, Pleated and Venetian styles and clip into the uPVC window frames and become an integral part of the window. Alternatively, you could have Roman blinds like Daisy suggests, but fit them higher than the windows outside the recess. You'd also get more light when they are pulled up too as they'd stack outside of the window itself. A few options there - PerfectFit blinds really are clever so I'd urge you to have a look. Here's a close up of how they look (please note, this is a Top-Down, Bottom-Up option where the tabs can be pulled from both the top and the bottom of the window). Good luck with your search, Zoe...See MoreBrown UPVC Windows, what colour Door?
Comments (5)I think soft green always looks nice with red/brown brick. I’m a bit concerned that your windows do not allow escape in case of a fire as the only opening parts are tiny. This pic below is Little Greene’s Celestial Blue, which looks more green to me! However it may be bit too cottagey?...See Morewhat colour blinds go with brown uvpc windows?
Comments (4)Hi Beth, if you have any pictures of your conservatory that would make it easier to recommend, but a great choice for conservatory windows are Perfect Fit blinds, these blinds are also really easy to install as they fit straight into the window frame. Here is a link to our range of Perfect Fit blinds, and you can see a picture below of how they look in a conservatory. https://www.makemyblinds.co.uk/perfect-fit-blinds/...See Morelspendl 828
