Loft
To give the neutral scheme some warmth, Walker added a wall of reclaimed brick in the living room. “I tried to keep the space quite neutral, but I didn’t want it looking bland,” he says. “This looks and feels like a true brick wall, but it’s actually made from reclaimed bricks that have been sliced down to create 1cm-thick slips. You just stick them to the wall like tiles, using adhesive.”Brick tiles, Reclaimed Brick-Brock Brick Tile link
J- love the idea of using the ‘dead’ space in the alcove
J- his and hers sinks
J - Shoe storage?
J - Storage idea. Like it
D - Great use of material and colours. Adore that bath
D - I love the use of wood and the lighting
D - Interesting stair and would suit our landing I think
J- use of glass
J - Like the Mirror and storage options
D - I love the open wall. Could be cold but allows loads of light without using sky lights
D - I like the storage option and clever use of space. Love the shelf arrangement on the left.
D - I adore split level anything as we don’t use it enough in our homes
D - I really like exposed beams. Not so sure about the skylights as although they are pretty, they can be cold and noisy (rain) not to mention leaks if it’s open. I do like the amount of light they let in though.
D - I like the light afforded by the triple window being so low.
D - No to the toilet shape (not squared off). Really like the dark tiles even though it could shrink the room.
