2018 Interiors
FIREPLACE: another option. With enhanced shelving, would this offer more interest for the wall? Could contrast painted brick with iron fireplace screen.
LAUNDRY: preferred way to enclose washer/dryer, but can live w/o. Can ignore the rest of the pic - space is too big. Criteria for the laundry is that doors to washer and dryer can no longer open into hallway. It can be small though- 4 X 8ish.
LAUNDRY: think we need built in drain like this, so if ever a water issue, no dwnstrs flooding
LAUNDRY: this looks so messy...can't be this bare bones
LAUNDRY: if we have to stack, this would work, but again, think we need a drain. No barn door.
LAUNDRY: Katie Ridder wallpaper to be used in laundry
STAIR: like the posts, but the stuff in the middle is a little boring. Not the place to spend time now. Something like this could work.
STAIR: downstairs view
STAIR - is too ornate, but nice to have some visual interest (can't go chippendale).
STAIRS - too fussy. Do not do.
STAIR: new light for over the stairs, circa - not the rail.
master bath- like the doors for bathroom and shower door trimmed out the same way. The way the trim wraps both doors is spot on. Must have some of the shower enclosed behind the wall (do not want completely open to room- want shower supplies concealed). Wall treatment option. Reminder: no bathtub for us.
