This kitchen avoided starkness of pure white units - these are Howdens Cashmere (camel colour), and walls are painted in a very warm grey called Rubine Ashes, Little Greene. LVT floor colour complements splashback colour and the engineered stone worktops which have the warmth of concrete and practicality of quartz. The hob has an integrated extractor to keep the scheme open and uncluttered.

Plain "modern" white units contrast well with worktops and look good with art. Floor colour/type would be OK too.
Light units and mid to light wooden floor - with dark top island "island table" and stools may be a consideration?
