BASEMENT PROJECT
pendant light going down the stairs
The look of the basement from the back of the couch; half wall built in to incorporate the support beams
GENERAL FEEL OF THE GREAT ROOM: in the corner (dog picture) will be a mechanical closet; behind that will be the full 4 piece bath; there will not be a tray ceiling due to height constrictions; where the bar is in the photo will be a bar WALL (no seating); on the side of the TV there will be a window and shelving and underneatht he tv will be a 60" electrical ventless fireplace.
like the idea of a painted color for the barn doors
the BUNK ROOM; central steps (all drawers); the platform for the upper bunk will be lower and the platform for the double bed will be lower also to accompodate the ceilings and allow for extra head room. the right side will be empty to allow for a play area or crib.
awesome built in ironing board is only thing about this photo
Basment bar wall inspiration with end cabnetry and floating shelves on a tiled wall; just add microwave (cabinets by Omega in Gunmetal Gray)
barn doors for entry to bath and entry to bunk room
television wall built in; small windows on either side above shelving
idea for entry into mechanical room while entering the basement from new outdoor stairwell (the open doorway to the left gives access to the main basement area)
inspiration for the laundry wall; The difference: units are on the floor, but the cabinetry would come all the way down to the top of the W/D including the lip of wood; As shown: Long hanging rod and long counter for folding and a place to tuck a laundry basket but there will be NO sink
basement bath half wall privacy; LOVE everything about this design. On the back wall will be a pocket door allowing entry to the laundry room; from the vantage point of the photo the entry way from the hall (a barn door); Tub is directly across
Love this half bath
Basement beautiful! The art/work space on the hallway wall of the laundry room. ONLY change: middle drawer unit removed and the cork board area would instead be a framed open space looking out to the entry hallway
