Bathrooms
Nice midcentury-inspired bathroom. Pro tip: Pick a bathroom floor color that’s a little lighter than your initial choice, Lin says. Most bathrooms, especially small ones, end up a little dark inside, and a lighter floor color can help prevent that. For this bathroom, she and Buenaventura had considered a navy tile but instead used a brighter blue.
Love the aqua and white bathroom
Clean lined bathroom. I like the continuity of plane from sink to shower bench.
I love the rainbow herringbone tile!
Nice mix of materials, industrial style without being over the top. I like the trough sinks, skylight, and wet-room design.
Large scale hex-tile on the wall and sleek Euro-style fixtures. Nice mix of materials.
Lovely elegant modern minimalist bathroom, but I'm not completely sold on the functionality. I think I would scale down this bathroom and apply the concepts to a powder room or secondary bath that sees less use.
I'd go with different finishes, but the layout of this "wet room" style bathroom is spot on. The marble is beautiful.
Nice wet room design, although I don't like the stack stone in the back (it's a dust catcher and hard to clean (and I dislike that I can see the lines between the large format river stone tiles.
Powder room dimensions
Bright open temple to bathing, two-person shower and steam room
Dream bathroom! Shower with huge skylight and a sauna.
Bright blue, grey, and white bathroom. Good use of space
Love that blue and a shower shelf is always useful.
Zen retreat bathroom with soaking tub and two-person shower
I know it's light on counter space, but I love the look of schoolhouse sinks, particularly when the bottom is painted a fun color. I also like the lighthearted tile floor.
Schoolhouse sink in a fun color and lovely marble hex time with a border, great combo for a '20s home.
That is a very attractive tile detail. The gold fixtures, however, are not to my taste.
Warm, minimal, modern powder room.
Love the tiles!
Interesting tile accent on the shower entry
Luxurious spa-like wet room bathroom.
Modern bathroom
Custom soapstone powder room vanity for the Craftsman win!
Organic minimal modern bathroom with a great herringbone tile detail.
Rainfall shower head in a skylight is an amazing idea.
Nice tile floor
I love that tile and this is an interesting application of hex tile.
I do love a schoolhouse style bathroom sink, particularly when the bottom is painted in a fun color. This bathroom does a nice job of keeping the 1920s feel while being clean and functional.
Minimal organic bathroom
Love the turquoise tile and cement tile. It's a little too white for my taste though, I'd like just a little more wood for organic warmth.
Smart use of the space around the bathroom sink. It provides good storage for small items.
Great layout, great overall aesthetic. I wouldn't go with a textured tile in shower and I could easily see adapting this to a smaller space without the soaking tub. The teal tile is beautiful.
Maritime finished wood tiles make for an interesting backsplash in the bathroom.
Nice finishes in this minimalist bathroom
I love these tiles in a bathroom!
Luxurious bathroom with soaking tub in shower
Nice black & white detail to dress up a subway and hex tile bathroom
Sleek lines and the black on black large hex tile wrap really work here
Nice use of a statement tile. I like the inset going to whole way across, if possible.
Love this midcentury bathroom. I do the like "leaf" or "jungle" tile
Gorgeous zen wet room style bathroom
Fun penny tile wall treatment
Love that tile
