Because the cloakroom is a petite part of a home, you might feel you can be decoratively bolder than you would be in a larger room. Equally, in a small space, you’ll need fewer of those bust-the-budget tiles or wallpaper, so finishes can perhaps afford be a touch more lavish. That’s not to say a simple approach won’t achieve beautiful results, too, but whatever you do, don’t let this little room languish, unloved. There’s lots of decorating fun to be had, as these examples show.
