Interiors/details
Solid as a rock stone and tile. The look is most commonly seen in kitchens and bathrooms. A tile baseboard can provide a higher level of protection than wood and wood products to save your wall from mold and water damage. Plus, the material is less likely to get dinged and scuffed, so it can look great for years without need for replacement or repainting.
A linear drain from Quick Drain USA When working with standard 3/8-inch-thick tile, I plan on a 1 1/4-inch finished wall build-out (off the stud framing) to factor in a combination of the 1/2-inch backer board, waterproofing, tile thinset and tile thickness. Plan your build-out before installing the drain so you can put the drain tight to the wall, as shown here. If you have not picked your tile yet, hold off on installing the drain until you have.
