Spring might seem a long way off, but there is a way to trick your home into thinking it’s here already. Make the most of early flowering blooms, such as daffodils, tulips and hyacinths, to give your interiors a hit of sunshine.

Gardenias... my favourites. Sometimes I find the strong scent of say, hyacinths or jasmine, slightly heady/overpowering, especially indoors at night. But I love them both!
