We’re lucky to have a nice sill to plop the usual kitchen herbs onto. And we always wanted a trailing plant so the kitchen wall cupboard was placed at a nice height to have one.

@Ken Doerr your ceiling is fantastic!! We have a very low pitched roof, but I have been thinking about solar led skylights - on a less glamarous scale than yours :o)

Jane G. We have a single storey house and needed extra light, so the kitchen refurb started with that ceiling arrangement. It looks like a little shed in the loft and took many manhours moving walkways, water, heating and gas pipes. It was well worth the effort.

I'm sure even in a shallow ceiling you can get the effect too, the panels are very thin.
