I kind of agree with Luciana about the books.I was tempted to do it because it looks so nice but it's better to group books in relation to each other to save time,all gardening books together etc.Nice pictures though,I enjoyed reading it.

Hey all, I do the colour co-ordinated book thing and it looks great! I have well over 500 books, all of which I have read more than once, and usually re-read multiple times. I sometimes spend a minute of two looking for the one I want, but I usually remember the colour of the spine with no problems. Also, while I agree that custom or bespoke furniture from a high-end company is eye wateringly expensive, custom made things from your local joiner probably aren't. For example I have a quote from my carpenter to make in fit custom georgian style shutters for my front window for £180 plus materials! Hope this helps. Jen
