I'm thinking of starting with my hallway, and using it as one long feature wall with painted doors etc. Maybe also including the wall at the left end. I'm thinking it would hide the front door as well, which I want.

I'm struggling a bit with colours, everywhere I have lived before has been much smaller and so just painted white throughout.

To add to your 'accent colours' I found that choosing a cohesive 'whole house' colour palette worked really well to bring in a sense of flow to our small, modern townhouse
