The first thing to do is measure the head height in the roof to see if a loft conversion is viable. And also consider where the stairs up will be located as that can eat into the room spaces below. Our last house did not have enough height and we didn't want to compromise the rooms below by lowering the ceiling.

We would love to have a loft conversion but unfortunately financially we are unable to do so. We certainly would welcome having the space which is quite a large space, we do have planning permission for Lawful Development for a one Bedroom Dormer Conversions which is no longer going to be happening funds needs to be diverted changes in circumstances. Need some desperate help advice, and ideas regarding the way forward. We live in the south east any suggestions from anyone who also was in a similar situation would be most welcome. Before l submit any recommendations would be more than welcome.

Thank you all.
