I like vistas and even a " Moon gate " to highlight a garden statue or special planting. this article has given me the idea of a moon gate for my back garden that is a bit of a quandary as it has plants just stuck in here and there with no plan at all and is about 100 years old, so to keep them and not destroy those ancient plants, I hope to enhance them in some way. Having a lane running past my back fence as well is a design headache but hopefully the ideas gleaned from this article will go someway to solving my design problems with an old backyard.

I would love a garden, but my backyard consists of dirt and dead rose bushes. And I would love a wild garden. Just a nice relaxing place to read a book.
