Finally, a science that can combine architecture and the brain!
personally, I love huge open spaces, high ceilings, curving staircases, airy buildings and loads and loads of LIGHT!

Our built-in sleeping nook in a large living room/library is a place everyone gravitates toward-- there is a double window facing the kitchen garden, and a paneled folding door that can close off the space if desired. The little sleeping nook is just big enough for a double bed-- a good place for extra guests, or afternoon reading.

What an amazing article!

As someone who loves neurosciences and starting to be part of the home development and architecture industry, this is a great way for me to understand the psychology and biochemical reactions people have when looking into homes/spaces, Whilst also getting more knowledge on Neurosciences.

I also love the way Dr Ellard will give his hypothesis in such an amazing, thoughtful and insightful way and his null hypothesis very opposite "I think it may be as simple as that.” a comment he made under subtitle What do people find pleasing in experiments.

All in all this was an amazing read and I am so glad I read this at the juncture I am at, it's only going to entice me to learn more about the industry I am about to encompass myself into.
