Myaglubpanny, we love our galley kitchen. Everything is within easy reach and when we stripped it back to the studs, we didn’t move any electrical or plumbing. What we did was add custom touches that made the kitchen perfect for us. We changed our useless, half deep-shelved, half pull-out cabinets into a doored, step-in pantry. We added deep drawers for our pots and pans, a pull-out next to the cooktop for utensils and two under the sink for cleaning supplies. We made our decisions easily because we had lived in the poorly designed kitchen for years so knew exactly what we wanted to change! Good luck.

Absolutely! Our island was built to close tour fridge & when open it feels like you’re going to bump whoever sitting at the counter. Would love to get it remodeled soon.

Plan twice, build once. I programmed my kitchen for over a year.
