@Luciana Appreciate this was posted a while ago but I am really interested in your solution to preserve your Victorian tiles in the hallway. We are doing a full renovation of a Victorian house which has lovely hallway tiles and agonising over what to do re heating given the rest of the house will have UFH. We had never thought of hanging the pipes on the basement ceiling! Are you able to provide more info?

I'm planning on having installed low-temperature water underfloor heating in my listed house - In the kitchen; taking up the old stone floor, laying new insulation, u/floor heating and putting back the limestone floor. In the dining room; I'm planning on replacing the suspended timber floor with a new terracotta floor. Otherwise as per the kitchen, with a new concrete or quite possibly a clay bead floor....Any thoughts on a manufacturer of the u/floor heating system or an installer in the Oxford area

@phil mead architect - Try the Schluter system, its thin and very effective. Not sure about installers in your area ... they might know : https://www.schluterditra.co.uk/schluter-ditra-heat/
