Aiming to get the hard landscaping done while the rest of the house is being renovated so that we're not carting muck around but there's a huge amount of scheduling to do.

to everyone planning on redesigning their garden please think about the existing wildlife. if you are cutting down that hedge where are the birds going to nest? getting rid of bushes, where are the hedgehogs going to shelter? to me there's no uglier garden than one all fenced in and lots of paving, devoid of any trees or shrubs. a couple of palm trees is not good enough. this is the UK not the Mediterranean. we could celebrate our own beautiful native trees and plants, it's amazing what that does to encourage wildlife.
