Kitchens are king
It’s probably the most discussed room in the house on our forums, so it’s no surprise this breezy, Shaker-style kitchen set-up made the top 10 list. With French windows, a kitchen island, and chrome pendant lights complementing the spotlights in the open shelving, it’s ticking lots of boxes. The colour scheme is a favourite among you, too, with palest grey creating a clean, soothing sanctuary in which to cook and entertain.
Tom Howley Kitchens used its bespoke Chicory paint here to tone with the granite worktops and marble flooring for a harmonious finish.

Eclectic style appeals widely
Many of you were drawn in by this welcoming living room with its bright colour accents, varied textures, layered pattern and beautiful gallery wall.
Art ledges like these, painted in the same colour as the wall, create plenty of space for propping up a mix of artworks – a clever solution if you’re lacking wall space and have tons of art to show off.

Larders feel the love
You love your larders! This bespoke solution, close to the kitchen worktop, makes cooking enjoyable and fuss-free. This example shows you don’t have to have a huge pantry; a fairly narrow unit still provides at-a-glance storage for lots of jars, packets, bottles and other groceries.

Neat kitchen solutions are always welcome
Straight up storage solutions – especially in your kitchen – continue to be hot topics on Houzz. Utilising wall space and maximising all those nooks are frequent searches, demonstrated by this image’s popularity.
The combination of different shades of Mylands’ paints creates interest on this side of the room, as well as defining the three separate storage areas for crockery, fresh fruit and veg, and all the larder ingredients.

Made-to-measure storage is the ideal
The larder love continues with this neat fix that makes the most of every surface. Clever cubbyholes, drawers, and baskets, plus wire shelves on the backs of the doors, all add up to one brilliant solution where everything has a home.
If you’re hankering after a pantry (and we think it’s safe to say most of you are!), consider how you’d use a cupboard like this and plan out where small appliances, fresh veg, spices and other essentials would go. What do you reach for most often? What tends to topple or spill in your current set-up? With a dedicated cupboard like this, it’s possible to make things so much more intuitive.

We all love letting in the light
This airy, sunshine-filled kitchen was a winner with you and it’s easy to see why. Bifold doors, a vaulted skylight, oversized chrome pendant lights and a bright, white scheme all make for one dazzling space that’s led by light.

Metro tiles go from strength to strength
This modern classic bathroom refit got your attention with simple, stylish grey metro tiling, a vintage-style radiator and a roomy walk-in shower. Finishing touches, such as the art on the wall and the leather strap magazine rack, give the room personality. Or maybe this image’s mass appeal was that it highlighted the bliss of a heated towel rail?
