I am thinking of outdoor sauna building at the end of the garden. Is there any regulation regarding how close to theneighbour you can build it? Neighbour at the back has got a funny garden shape, where his back garden is tiny and house is probably only 1,5 m away from the fence. Moreover its at lower level than ours, so i can see into his second floor easily. Another reason for building is to give me a bit of privacy

Lovely. Garden rooms can provide perfect little sanctuaries. The use of natural materials is a connection with nature. Western red cedar (WRC) is a popular choice. There are different visual grades; clear grades are often selected for garden rooms i.e. virtually no knots, if any at all. Canadian WRC more durable than larch but larch can be pressure treated to improve its performance.
