With the main sink on the side of island and within easy reach of the cook top, a second sink was positioned at the end of the island specifically for drink preparation. A Quooker boiling water tap was put on the second sink enabling Robert and Melissa to prepare hot drinks away from the hustle and bustle of the cooking and prep zone.
