Besoin client Dans le cadre de la rénovation et du réagencement complet de leur souplex, nos clients souhaitaient profiter de l’espace qu’offrait leur sous-sol. En plus d’accueillir une buanderie et une chaufferie, ils souhaitaient avoir un espace de « loisir ». Nous avons donc élaboré avec eux leur projet de salle de cinéma, billard et espace détente. Nous avons donc travaillé avec nos partenaires à la réalisation de leur projet de rénovation de maison. Projet Ils rêvaient d’un espace où partager de bons moments entre amis, ou en famille, tant autour du billard que d’un écran. Ils souhaitaient pouvoir regarder des matches de foot entre mais, ou encore des films les jours pluvieux, tout en ayant un espace convivial spécifique dédié. Les travaux d’aménagement ont consisté en : - Isolation des plafonds et murs de cette pièce située en sous-sol - Pose d’un faux plafond pour installer les câblages des éclairages ainsi que ceux d'un rétroprojecteur - Un carrelage gris en grande dimension a été posé au sol La mise en peinture a été faite en deux teintes avec un soubassement noir, le reste ayant été peint en blanc pour avoir de la luminosité dans cette pièce aveugle. Les plus Les travaux satisfont entièrement nos clients, ils ont plaisir à accueillir leurs amis autour d’un apéritif à l’occasion d’un évènement sportif. Ils peuvent également désormais visionner confortablement comme au cinéma un film tout en restant dans le confort de leur canapé et de leur maison. L’ensemble des travaux ont été réalisés par une entreprise partenaire, qualifiée et sélectionnée par nos soins. Ils sont spécialisés dans les revêtements de murs et de sols. BASEMENT CINEMA, POOL ROOM AND WINE BAR IN WEST LONDON We created this generous space in the basement of a detached family home. Our clients were keen to have a private area for chilling out, watching films and most importantly, throwing parties! The palette of colours we chose here calmly envelop you as you relax. Then later when the party is in full swing, and the lights are up, the colours take on a more vibrant quality. MOOD LIGHTING, ATMOSPHERE AND DRAMA Mood lighting plays an important role in this basement. The two natural light sources are a walk-on glass floor in the room above, and the open staircase leading up to it. Apart from that, this was a dark space which gave us the perfect opportunity to do something really dramatic with the lighting. Most of the lights are on separate circuits, giving plenty of options in terms of mood scenes. The pool table is overhung by three brass and amber glass pendants, which we commissioned from one of our trade suppliers. Our beautifully curated artwork is tastefully lit with downlights and picture lights. LEDs give a warm glow around the perimeters of the media unit, wine rack and bar top. CONTEMPORARY PRIVATE MEMBERS CLUB FEEL The traditional 8-foot American pool table was made bespoke in our selection of finishes. As always, we made sure there was a full cue’s length all the way around the playing area. We designed the bar and wine rack to be custom made for this project. The natural patina of the brass worktop shows every mark and stain, which might sound impractical but in reality looks quirky and timeless. The bespoke bar cabinetry was finished in a chestnut brown lacquer spray paint. On this project we delivered our full interior design service, which includes concept design visuals, a rigorous technical design package and a full project coordination and installation service.

Un projet atypique avec l’aménagement de la cave de cette maison bourgeoise de la fin du XIXème. Une transformation impressionnante pour laisser place à une belle cave à vin, ainsi qu’à une salle de cinéma, une buanderie et un hammam. Pour ce chantier, nous avons répondu à plusieurs enjeux : La mise en place d’un drain intérieur pour capter les remontées d’humidité Le piquage des anciens enduits ciment et l’application d’un enduit perspirant à la chaux Le décaissage de la pièce accueillant le hammam L’aménagement menuisé de la cave à vin De nouveaux espaces épurés et chaleureux qui viennent agrandir cette maison. This huge cinema/family room is the heart of the basement. It is the perfect place for all the family to cozy up on the deep velvet sofas and watch a movie. We added a home bar. The fabric wallpaper make the room more luxurious and cozy. the sheer curtains give privacy from the office space to the rear and the blackout curtains block out all the light for daytime movies.
