Contemporary Wine Storage

Contemporary Wine Cellar, Hampshire

Wild Grapes designed this ground floor wine room in a mansion home in Esher, Surrey. This square room measured 2.2m x 2.2m and had a stepped ceiling. The contemporary silver anodised aluminium wine racking provides storage for a mix of standard bottles, half bottles, magnums and cases, accommodating a total of 1,073 bottles. This design also uses a Danish oiled oak counter top and bridge display with an LED light strip. An integral cassette AC unit was also installed in the room (with the compressor fitted on the exterior wall), to provide the correct and consistent temperature and humidity level.
