Yes, this is my kitchen and I have done concrete here. Have done several other kitchens with concrete tops and all look great and clients very happy!

    Hi,

Not too sure where you could get that exact wall light from, but we can offer an alternative.

Gemini Single Wall Spotlight - Satin Nickel

You can take a further look at the different ranges of wall lights we offer here.

In the meantime if you have any questions please feel free to email us at customerservice@litecraft.co.uk or by calling 0161 359 4777

    Kind Regards,

WhiteOK, it’s not strictly a colour, but crisp white is a natural partner for darker shades of grey, as illustrated by this smart kitchen. One for the minimalists, it’s a cool, calm and elegant combination that works well if livened up with some natural textures, like the wooden chopping boards and bar stools and the woven basket shown here.Find the perfect bar stool on Houzz today.

Layer grey on greyHere, a polished concrete floor and pale concrete worktop complement the dark grey wall beautifully. The shades are similar, yet different enough to add interest to the space – and the marbled finish of the work surface and flooring brings a tactile layer to the room.Fancy installing a polished concrete floor in your kitchen? Lose the splashbackThere’s no law saying you have to have worktop-to-ceiling tiles. Instead, go ‘commando’ with a bare wall. In this kitchen, the elegant grey areas stand out, partly thanks to the absence of any splashback.Once again, look for an appropriately hard-wearing and moisture-resistant paint.

Step 1: wash your walls Kitchen walls tend to get greasy with minute particles of airborne oil, especially around the cooking area. “It’s always a good idea to wash the walls with a sugar soap solution before you start decorating,” advises Shillingford. “It’s not a difficult job, but it can be awkward, so make sure you wear rubber gloves and safety goggles, especially if you’re working on the ceiling.” Once the surfaces are clean, wipe them down with a damp cloth and check that they’re dry before painting. Glossy surfaces need a different approach. “The best way to prepare them is to use fine sandpaper on the area so the new paint can adhere well,” says Helen Shaw of Benjamin Moore UK. “Make sure you remove any sanding dust and vacuum all surfaces. Then wipe them down with a clean cloth.”
