Elevate industrial lighting Industrial-style lighting often involves metal pendants, bare bulbs or angular lamps, but these elegant glass droplets give the trend a more refined finish. The centrepiece of the whole project is the stunning staircase. ‘The staircase is unashamedly modern,’ Michael says. ‘The balustrade is the key – it’s something which is both industrial and modern, but also blends the spaces together.’ Michael’s team worked closely with EeStairs to create the design, which was then manufactured in the Netherlands and shipped to the UK.The staircase’s design is further enhanced by the cluster of large pendant lights, which were discovered by Dyer Grimes’ interior designer. ‘We sourced these lights from the Lindsey Adelman Studio in New York,’ Michael explains. ‘They’re blown-glass bulbs and they’re attached to a clamp.
