We collaborated closely with our client’s interior designer to create this alluring space. What really stands out is the homely yet sophisticated atmosphere we managed to achieve. Our exclusive inset handles in Satin Nickel paired with Little Greene’s Lead Grey bring a cool, clean edge to the cabinetry. Large skylights and Crittall doors allow natural light to permeate the room, adding to the fresh and airy ambiance.

The Myers TouchThe Myers Touch
In collaboration with the client’s architect, AR Design the layout of the kitchen was already in place. However, upon meeting the client it was clear she wanted a ‘wow’ island, symmetry in design and plenty of functional storage. As well as a contemporary, family-friendly space it was also important the space that still respected the heritage of the house. The original walls of the property had many angled walls and featured some tight spaces, so careful consideration of SieMatic's cabinetry choices was given to ensure maximum functionality in those spaces. After much consideration, The Myers Touch specified SieMatic’s SC10 Cabinetry in a Provence Oak Laminate finish which was placed in a framed-style at the rear wall. The same cabinetry was specified for under the island to create contrast with the new and original material features in the space. In order for the family to keep the kitchen uncluttered, careful planning of internal storage systems was considered in the form of using SieMatic’s internal Drawer boxes and their MultiMatic internal storage system which were used to store smaller items such as spices and sauces, as well whilst providing space for slide-out drawers and storage baskets. To ensure an elegant yet ‘wow’ factor central island, The Myers Touch combined contrasting textures by using 30mm Silestone Eternal Calacatta natural stone, polished worktops with ‘waterfall island’ edges and a Corian solid surface back panel. The distinctive geometric patterned Corian panel in Cameo White looks particularly spectacular at night when the owner's turn on the architectural-toned lighting under the island. Appliances chosen for the island included a sophisticated Elica Illusion extractor hood so it could be totally integrated in the new architectural space without visual distraction, a Siemens iQ500 Induction Hob with touch-slide control and a Caple Under-counter Wine cabinet. To maximise every inch of the new space, and to ensure the owners had a place for everything, The Myers Touch also used additional cabinetry and storage options in the island such as extra deep drawers to store saucepans, cutlery, and everyday crockery. The eye-catching Antique-bronze mirrored splashback not only helps to provide the illusion of extra space, but reinforces family ‘togetherness’ as it reflects and links the rear of the kitchen ‘snug’ area where family members can sit and relax or work when not in the main kitchen extension area. The original toned brickwork and 18th Century steel windows in the original part of the extension also helps to tell the story about the older part of the house which now juxtaposes to the new, contemporary kitchen living extension. A handy door was also included in the extension which leads to the garage on the main road for family convenience and over-flow storage. The beauty of hand-painted, handmade kitchens is that they can be easily added to. This client already had a Hill Farm Furniture kitchen and when they decided to make the area bigger, they asked us back. We redesigned the layout of the kitchen, taking into account their growing family's needs. Bespoke cabinets in a fresh new colour with new Broughton of Leicester door and drawer handles, new appliances and taps created a brand new cosy and homely kitchen. And we didn't stop there, designing, manufacturing and installing bespoke vanity units in the cottage's new ensuite and bathroom.

This stunning modern kitchen on Sandridgebury Lane, St Albans is the perfect example of form meeting function. The client wanted an ultra-modern kitchen that would be able to accommodate their large family and their love of entertaining. They wanted an almost commercial and industrial feel to the space, and they definitely achieved that goal with this striking scheme. The sleek lines and monochromatic palette create a chic and elegant aesthetic, while the brushed steel surfaces and high-end appliances give the space a contemporary feel. We used a combination of brushed steel reproduction and lacquered laminate for the cabinets and a Dekton Domoos in matt graphite. The luxury appliances are from Siemens, Blanco, and Quooker, and they were chosen for their quality and ability to meet a busy family's demands. This kitchen is truly a work of art and is sure to be the centre of many happy memories for years to come.

A stunning smooth painted Shaker style kitchen in the complementary colours of Farrow & Ball's Elephants Breath and Pink Ground was designed and made to suit this new build home in the village of Winscombe, Somerset. The house was designed to encourage open plan living and the kitchen with its large central island reflects this. The island was created for the family, allowing them to meet together for a casual supper or to prepare and serve a meal for a larger gathering. The customers were keen to maximise the island surface but didn't want to loose floor space. A sturdy gallows bracket was made and painted in the same Pink Ground colour to coordinated with and to support the weight of the extra deep overhang.

For the island, we added hidden cupboard space under the seating area, for the seldom used items. Also, incorporating a drawer with a double plug and USB point. Hiding unsightly cables with the ease of charging at the same time. To complement the curved island top, we mirrored this on the ceiling to enhance a softness to the design. To eradicate the need of an overhead extractor fan, we used a Bora Pure recirculation extractor hob. The optimal airflow offers reduced noise when used and all odours are immediately captured at surface height. Perfect when entertaining.
