Transitional Dining Room
The front room and dining area were given a fresh coat of soft grey paint and the original floors were re-stained a dark cocoa. The homeowners original dining set in country pine was given an elegant makeover by staining the dining chairs and table a dark stain, while the hutch and buffet were painted a soft grey. The dining chairs were re-upholstered in a neutral coral reef patterned fabric that is actually an outdoor fabric. Diamond patterned upholstered arm chairs arranged in a circle around a tufted ottoman, create a cozy space for reading and after dinner discussions.
