Great front porch. Painted floor, beautiful doors, generous space
Like your front porch and the color combo on this house. Would probably do Ipe for the front and back porches. We are ok with letting it weather. We have it at our house now for our deck and porch. I don’t love Trex and Zuri feels like it could get scratched or messed up. If you are ok with it weathering to gray it’s pretty hard to hurt Ipe. We like the raised connection to the house but know that probably won’t work out for us, which is fine. We like the double doors and the transom windows. We this we probably want windows not doors for the TV room and gym — we’ll want to put the sofa probably against the wall and gym equipment against the walls so doors wouldn’t really be all that useful. We kind of like the door area being flush across — we see you bumped it out in the hand sketches and there may be a reason that’s necessary or preferable. We are open to it.
I think this is the raised connector on your Grand Manor home — I like the way that works.
