We’re beyond excited to share these incredible photos that beautifully highlight our Victorian tiles in a stunning period property. The talented team at Kerv Interiors worked their magic, keeping the charm of the classic features while breathing new life into the space with bold patterns, rich colours, and varied textures. The original character of the property shines through, but there’s a fresh twist that makes everything feel so much more vibrant and alive. From the intricate tile work to the thoughtfully chosen decor, every detail has been carefully considered and tastefully executed. A massive thank you to Kerv Interiors for their vision and expertise in bringing out the best in our tiles. We're proud to have been part of such a beautiful transformation, and we're truly grateful for the chance to collaborate on this special project.

To brighten and warm the room, the ceiling between the lower ground floor and the ground floor was removed, allowing the south-facing light to flow through the front of the house. A sculptural staircase was added to connect the living room and the hallway.

Our brief for this new monolithic staircase was to look more like a piece of art than a staircase. The staircase sits in a Grade 2 listed building and complements the period interior beautifully! The once old makeshift staircase which accessed the former servant’s quarters of the property was transformed to give them access to the loft space which they had totally renovated. After sitting down with the Donohoe’s and looking through mood boards, we came up with this design and colour wash. The substrate of the staircase was made from solid oak with our new arctic white wash finish, giving it a clean, fresh Scandinavian look. What do you think? Photo credit: Matt Cant

This is an example of a medium sized contemporary wood floating staircase in Angers with open risers.

We were commissioned to transform a large run-down flat occupying the ground floor and basement of a grand house in Hampstead into a spectacular contemporary apartment. The property was originally built for a gentleman artist in the 1870s who installed various features including the gothic panelling and stained glass in the living room, acquired from a French church. Since its conversion into a boarding house soon after the First World War, and then flats in the 1960s, hardly any remedial work had been undertaken and the property was in a parlous state. Re-modelling of a landmark historic building into light-filled apartments. The design opened up the space to celebrate the character of the historic building, added external terraces and significantly improved the energy performance using natural materials and innovative technology.
