Duane is the latest addition to the Tribeca collection, the close collaboration between Menu and Søren Rose Studio. Duane is a 'retro-chic piece of art' - a small and neat lamp inspired by late 1930's glamour.
The Tribeca series is inspired by the New York glamour of the late 1930s. The collections name refers to a very popular part of New York in lower West Manhattan, the Triangle Below Canal Street. Inspiration for designs and shapes emerged from Søren Rose Studio travelling to the States, searching for beautiful old lamps and reusable parts. The process is interesting – parts were separated, rated and arranged, and then assembled again, mix and match style, until these new and much bolder designs emerged.
