Modern fresh, but with some classic elements - bathsheba_bathrooms

This lovely Regency building is in a magnificent setting with fabulous sea views. The Regents were influenced by Classical Greece as well as cultures from further afield including China, India and Egypt. Our brief was to preserve and cherish the original elements of the building, while making a feature of our client’s impressive art collection. Where items are fixed (such as the kitchen and bathrooms) we used traditional styles that are sympathetic to the Regency era. Where items are freestanding or easy to move, then we used contemporary furniture & fittings that complemented the artwork. The colours from the artwork inspired us to create a flow from one room to the next and each room was carefully considered for its’ use and it’s aspect. We commissioned some incredibly talented artisans to create bespoke mosaics, furniture and ceramic features which all made an amazing contribution to the building’s narrative.

Shelving and wall cabinets to give storage but maximise spacious feel - cbritten

Amos Goldreich Architecture has recently completed the transformation of an Edwardian house in North London.
The client brief called for light-filled, open spaces with a strong sense of connectivity. The challenge has been to respect the history of a 100 year old building while sensitively adapting it to accommodate the requirements of 21st-century family life. In addition, the client wished to display a range of rare objects and sculpture so the main reception rooms needed to function both as living areas but also as informal ‘gallery’ spaces.
The overall concept was to infuse the interiors with as much natural light as possible, enhanced by the decision to adopt a neutral and coherent palette of white walls and contrasting dark American walnut flooring, creating a consistent visual framework on each floor.
Overall, the project demonstrates the practice’s careful analysis of logistical problems and how to resolve them. Internal windows bring light from the front of the house through to the rear, and vice versa. Where storage products could not be sourced, bespoke units have been designed and made for the kitchen, living areas and bedrooms.

Shower deck system
Complete waterproofing system for built-in showers.
A new style of shower tray for more exclusive bathrooms. This system includes a totally flat shower base where the water drains out between the tiles. This means that the water outlet is hidden from view, so a wooden flooring effect can be achieved but with the benefits of ceramic tiles.
The prefabricated shower tray has been designed to sit underneath ceramic tiles that are not fixed permanently. The ceramic tiles are fixed to guides that sit atop the shower tray, hiding the outlet and allowing the water to filter out between the tiles.

Renovation of an apartment located in the infamous Lutyens buildings in Pimlico, Central London.
This small apartment was in need of a complete overhaul and modernisation to each and every room. Blessed with natural light and regular layout we designed and developed a modern, practical and stylish bathroom and kitchen, maximising the use of space. Further we designed and developed a beautiful minimalist living room and bedroom, enhanced by stunning lighting.
New dark wooden floors are complimented perfectly by the use of grey, black and white walls, materials and fixtures to create a modern stylish apartment.
The combination of this amazing dark and light porcelain tiles alongside the fancy towel rack radiator will always give you the urge to take a shower.
I like this style of bathroom radiator. Just chrome and ladder style. Also like the colours of the floor and wall tiles - only i would reverse it. Rectangular dark on floors and rectangular white on walls - dchu515
This ensuite bathroom was completely remodelled. What was a dank, dark, badly designed small space, became a serene sancturary for the clients, with a walk in shower and raised roof to bring yet more light and space to the surroundings
