Modern extension to a listed house
Contemporary Living Room, Oxfordshire
The clients love their listed house right in the center of a small town but found the existing spaces rather dark and unconnected to the pretty walled garden. They tasked me with designing a new room flooded with light that led directly outdoors. The contemporary design was seen as sympathetic with its tonally matching brickwork but making a clear distinction between new and old and was approved by the planners.
