Help how to warm up my white kitchen

I'm re doing my dire kitchen - have chosen white high gloss cabinets and am considering finally stellar grey quartz by silestone and as I don't have a dining area I am including a breakfast bar in a peninsular style rather than square edges. I was going to go for a smooth easy to clean tile but have seen a light grey wood effect tile but it's Matt and has ridges which I feel will be a nightmare for cleaning possibly? And feels a bit cold - I don't want it to look clinical so can anyone help me how to warm it up possibly with a natural wood look tile instead ? And I wanted to have a pendant light over the b/bar - can send pics of the suggested design if you wish but it's taking over my life trying to make s decision - help needed
