    its a reclaimed Parquet, afraid Ill have to look it up, but its pretty much a one-off when reclaimed. You could try Pecks flooring in Putney, I think it may have been from them

Turn that wood part to overlap the other way - matching the length of the island and water falling just that piece. That woul also create a "back " to push appliances or other stuff on the island too.
