Austin's Casa Azul is the the spot for all things happy.
This AirBnb remodel it is joyful, hip and functional. I was hired to design, procure and set up this one bedroom private apartment, an Austin jewel nestled in Windsor Park.
The bedroom, living room and dining space are furnished in bold colors and fun and eclectic style with a nod to Moroccan vibes.
Take time to relax in the private outdoor area designated to you and your guest. We painted the fence a bright happy color and faced it with a colorful mural, making the space bright and fun. Chair lounge chairs, fire pit, café lights and grill finish the space making it party ready. Herb garden, succulent arrangement and fun, colorful metal art and décor add pops of color and interest.
Casa Azul is ready for your stay.

This riverfront property received a major facelift while keeping with the traditional style of the home. Working between an existing bulkhead and a covered patio off the back of the house, we incorporated various design elements to add plenty of "rooms" for the homeowners to entertain in. The linear pool features an elevated inset spa, with infinity edge. The pool deck, landing, and cabana floor are travertine. Brick stairs and walls match the existing brick from the property. A linear fire pit sits in a sunken gravel patio, to create a more intimate space and soften the feel of the hardscape surround. Raised planters break up space and add a bright pop of color, encouraging butterflies and birds to visit often.

Twisted Rock Terrascape & Design, Inc.
Another great acreage project that was a blank slate for us to design and build to suit our client. A large concrete patio was a must and our client wanted nice curved lines to match the natural setting. To do so, however, required a very tall retaining wall that we built out of concrete using footings below frost to ensure a lifetime of worry free stability. We extended the patio out past the upper deck to a natural wood-burning fire pit area using rundle rock. A perfect tranquil setting!!

With a fully loaded outdoor kitchen, sleek spa with a cozy patio and linear gas fire pit, raised garden, and an industrial corten steel fire pit big enough for hog roasts, this yard has it all! The homeowners wanted a space where they can entertain all of their friends, so we gave them a large outdoor kitchen made entirely of glass fiber reinforced concrete (GFRC) including the "wood" posts. There is space to sit and share a meal, a Perlick kegerator, an oversized Lynx grill adjacent to a Big Green Egg, a trash chute, and a sink. Peacock Pavers stepping stones lead to a patio with a custom GFRC spa surround framed by a minimalist wood pergola. The homeowners can relax on the double lounge chair while enjoying the warm glow of the wood-look GFRC fire pit. A gravel patio makes the perfect space for a large custom fabricated corten fire pit, complete with a removable grilling surface to easily switch from enjoying a bonfire to roasting dinner. The space is finished off by low maintenance landscaping.
