The renovations include a wraparound deck, an expansive travertine natural stone patio, stairways and pathways along with concrete retaining walls and column accents with dramatic planters. They built this large pond by themselves and we helped them by doing the grading/seeding and landscaping around the pond. We also installed this amazing floating fountain, not only as a decorative piece, but also to aerate the pond.
Clement Walsh Landscape Architect, Inc.A dry stream bed was designed and installed to assist with drainage for the front of the property. A quaint white picket fence defines the space, and separates the new apple and pear orchard from the rest of the front yard. The lawn and gravel paths are edged with steel, to define the spaces and to contain the gravel from the bark mulch flower beds and the lawn.
The plantings along the driveway and orchard include: Japanese Holly (Ilex crenata 'Convexa'), Gulf Stream Heavenly Bamboo (Nandina domestica 'Gulf Stream'), Flaming Silver Andromeda (Pieris japonica 'Flaming Silver'), and spirea.
