The ballet bar was a special request for this pre-teen ballerina. Now she can practice in her very glamorous bedroom. This super glam bedroom was designed for a pre-teen client. She requested a sophisticated, glamorous, and fabulous bedroom. A combination of rose gold, silver, and white make up the color palette. Mirrored furniture and rose gold mercury glass lamps add bling. The bedding is velvet, satin, and ruffles. A petite chandelier gives us a sparkle. My client is a ballerina and so a ballet barre was a must. The adorable brackets for the barre are a fun detail. The vanity stool was upholstered to match the custom throw pillow. Beautiful, bohemian teen bedroom remodel in McKinney, TX. We started with a barn wood accent wall, stained in multiple colors of aqua, teal and turquoise and paired it with a custom art gallery wall with crate shelving to use as nightstands. So many cure accents from the custom fur desk chair and "faux" barn door to the candles frames and throw pillows. It's the perfect place for rest, relaxation, hanging out with friend and, of course, homework.

Amy Troute Inspired Interior Design partnered with Oregon Home Magazine to give away a dream master bedroom makeover. Our winner had visions of vintage style and we delivered with layers of color, texture and softness. We built the upholstered headboard and finished it with a rustic frame in reclaimed boards from Portland's Salvage Works. Vintage dressers were painted in the deepest tone of the palette (provided by the linen on the headboard), and layers of bedding and wall to wall draperies finished the space. Even on a tight budget, the magic of scale, color and texture can completely transform a dream master retreat!

This is a remodel of small home in Pacific Palisades, Los Angeles, just off Sunset Blvd. The goals of this project are to reconfigure the floor plan and to meet current homeowner's needs and update its aesthetics to current tastes suitable in that area. To achieve these goals, the interior of the house was completely gutted and reconfigured and the exterior was removed and wrapped with new siding. Since the house is close to ocean and surrounded by celebrities' mansions, the interior design is slightly eclectic with a mix of coastal casual with a hint of modern Hollywood glam.
