Timeline

The path of life, a constant relationship between ones past, present & future. Memories are frozen in a pictorial or artefact time line, ever present in the creation of the ‘memory lane’ architectural-interior-functional-psychological element along the corridor. The present is represented by the living areas consisting of the kitchen-living-dining; bright spaces full of light. The enhanced perspectives within the timber cladding and building on internal elements that are being retained, give a sense of direction with an undefined ending: a constant motion that is life. The resting areas of the apartment seem more in tune with the past, being more distant, where abstracted darker colours underpin the past and the night. Photography: Peter M. Mercieca Styling: Camilleri Paris Mode with accessories, Boconcept with furnishings.
