My wife and I have been Asheville residents our entire lives. We are in the midst of building a new home and recently utilized Andy to adjust our architectural plans. Due to restrictive covenants in the community we are building we needed to make numerous adjustments to our plan to meet community standards as well as satisfy our own personal taste. Not only was Andy efficient, but his work required minimal changes once various iterations were complete. Andy listened to our vision and turned that vision into a reality on paper. We would not hesitate in contacting Andy again for any and all architectural design related projects.

We contracted with Andy to design renovations for a home built in the 1970's. He listened carefully to our needs and our ideas about space and updating the looks of the house. Andy is a master in creatively designing useful and beautiful space, and he is meticulus in thinking through a project from beginning to end. We appreciated his communication with us and his flexibility when we decided on any last minute changes. Andy found a way to vault a ceiling and add beautiful windows, create a pantry when we thought it was impossible, and open up our kitchen to look out on a grand view. We recently contracted with him for the second phase of our renovations. If we ever move across country and need a designer, Andy will have to come with us!

Andy Bailey did a superior job designing our mountain home. There is so much to think about when building a home into the side of a mountain and he helped us each step of the way. Our new home is currently under construction and our builder has mentioned more than once what a pleasure it is to work off of Andy's plans. Highly recommend Andy, he is not only talented but a pleasure to work with.

Andy is a pleasure to work with. He listened intently to our desires and with his talent and hard work turned our wishes into our dream home. His custom home design for us was everything we hoped for, and practical as well. Andy is well attuned to house and site requirements in the mountains. Our builder loved working from his plans. We recommend Andy without hesitation.
