Action Automatic Door & Gate

Just had Action here to replace broken springs. Car was stuck in garage and I needed to get it out for a dr appt. Liz sent Elliot the tech within 3 hrs of my call. Elliot was excellent and made the repair. They now have a customer for life. Thank you Action!!!

Just moved in to our house. As a result of our inspection, the sellers agreed to have the garage door repaired and these guys did the work. The sellers provided us with a receipt that says there’s a 30 day warranty on service. The garage door still isn’t working properly so we reached out to Action Doors. They won’t come back out - claiming the warranty isn’t transferable, even though the work was done for us. Super lame. Shoddy work which they don’t want to stand behind and crappy customer service - avoid this company!!

Great service and professional approach to both the process of choosing a garage door AND the installation of the door. The salesman was excellent and personable inside the facility, and then the installers came out and did a prompt, professional, and excellent install.

Action Automatic Door provided great service at a great price. The entire process from sales to installation was handled professionally and courteously. It was easy to select garage door styles and accessories using their website and sales provided a fair and reasonable price for the door and opener. The door we ordered arrived at Action and the installation scheduled within the time frame sales estimated for this. Installers arrived at the appointed time to remove and replace the old door and opener. They were very pleasant and the work they completed done competently.

Update to my 2 star review that follows. I am glad I reviewed this company as I was unhappy with a recent service. I am changing my review to a 5 star since as a result of my original review, I was contacted and was treated extremely well and I had a fabulous serviceman (Juan) come out and look over the job that left me unhappy. This service rep left me feeling very happy again with Action Automatic and had a good look at everything and went above and beyond in making the job perfect. I thank the president for his extremely quick action on my behalf and I will be back (however I'll ask for Juan). ---original text--- I simply had a garage door opener replaced. Jose, the installer, had such a poor attitude up until the end of the job. He began by literally dumping the contents of the box out onto the garage floor from a height of about a foot. No wonder the control panel's lcd was broken when he hung it on a skewed angle while he chatted with a cell phone cranked under this chin - his line of sight was certainly off. When I told him I'd like the cracked control replaced and put up level, he got quite huffy - but did it begrudgingly. After the opener was installed, my husband asked him to take the slack out of the linkage as the door would make a noise - he said that it could not be adjusted this way. After he left my husband read the manual and adjusted the door to take the slack out of the linkage. This installer threw garbage across the length of our garage trying to hit the empty door opener box. He seemed to work very sloppily all around. Perhaps this is not the case with all Action Automatic personnel, but I doubt I'll be back.

We have been a customer of Action Automatic Door for about 30 years. My husband is a Residential Contractor and we always use them for the garage doors. They are honest, friendly, efficient and most importantly to us, they are dependable. We highly recommend that you use them for whatever you need. If we have ever had the slightest problem with a door installation or service work to be done, they respond quickly and the workers are always the best.

We are very satisfied with both the pricing and installation of our garage door. Timely and polite service with a superb professional attitude represented the company very well. We recommend Action and would have them replace our door again if needed!!
